What represents Gensami?

Gensami is a fine knitwear brand exclusively Made-in-Italy from natural, noble and sustainable fibers that showcases coordinated knits for babies, adults and pets. It expresses Love Bonds through knitted creations to wear, gift and even pass on. Each knit is a declaration of Love, marking unforgettable moments.

How is this idea expressed?

The symbol that marks this special connection between dear ones is The Yellow Thread placed on the left cuff, the side of the heart. It embodies a ray of sunshine, the role that people we love play in our lives.

What is the knit that best represents Gensami?

The Miacanto sweater represents us at our best: it is a blend of two noble yarns and three different patterns that require great Craftsmanship. But it is soft and comfortable, like the knits that used to be made.

And for the little ones?

For the first time we will be present at the Pitti Bimbo event, in Florence, a wonderful milestone where we will showcase the newest addition to the Alpachino carryover collection, knitted sweaters and accessories for babies from 0 to 3 years old, featuring our testimonial – the alpaca. However, the novelty will be Born to Bee, a collection that expresses our love for the environment, with bees as the protagonist.

What do you wish for Gensami?
I would like it to become an ambassador brand of Italian style in the world, and I would like to continue to create knits that speak of Love and the joy of living.
