Payments and returns for deliveries to Italy (EUROPE) are invoiced in Euros (EUR).

Payment by credit or debit card
In the purchase process, you can select the "payment method" and among these you can choose the "card" method.
Any fees and costs of the banking service may be charged to the customer. If transaction costs are attributed by your bank, the latter will not be reimbursed by Gensami.

New authentication process for credit card payment
Since the beginning of 2021, new rules on bank account security have come into effect as part of the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2).
These new measures have been introduced to make online payments even safer.
The PSD2 Directive protects your credit card information through a process called 2-factor authentication, which requires you to verify your identity to prove that you, and not someone else, are using the card. Thanks to the increased security introduced by the PSD2 regulation, if someone takes possession of your phone, your computer or your credit card, they would not be able to make an online payment. As of January 2021, banks are required to require 2-factor authentication for online payments above a certain value. If you are having trouble making credit card payments, we recommend that you check with your bank if your card is already registered for 2-factor authentication. If not, your bank will provide you with instructions to register.

Payment with Visa or Mastercard
The system checks whether the card uses 3-D-secure Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode security programs. These are security procedures developed exclusively for this type of credit card to verify that the legitimate holder of the credit card and the legitimate online seller are actually carrying out the transaction. If a credit card holder is enrolled in the 3-D-secure security program, after entering the order data, another query window will open connected to the customer's bank which will ask you to enter the "secure code" ”(A password chosen by you). Only by entering the correct password will the transaction be executed.
SIf the credit card is not registered for any of these security procedures, the payment will be made without re-authentication. You can find more information on credit card security procedures at:
Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode
Payment with American Express
The system checks whether the delivery address provided with the order is identical to the billing address registered by American Express (AVS: Amex Address Verification System). If the address does not match, the customer will be notified by e-mail and asked to provide American Express with the address chosen for delivery. The delivery of the order takes place only after successful authentication.
The following rules apply to all payments made by credit card: The return credit will always be refunded to the credit card used for the purchase.
Payments via Paypal
In the purchase process just select "PayPal" among the "payment methods" to be automatically transferred to the PayPal page. If you are already a PayPal customer, simply log in with your details and confirm the payment. If you don't have a PayPal account, you can open one and confirm the payment.
In case of returning the goods, the amount will be credited to the account used for payment.
Payments by bank transfer
In the "payment method" section at checkout, select "bank transfer" and finalize the order
The bank details and the order number will be sent via the automatic confirmation e-mail.
Once confirmation is received, transfer the amount to the following account within 48 hours. In order to process the payment, it is essential to enter the order number in the reason for payment.

Any bank and transfer fees will be charged to the customer.
The order will be shipped immediately after receiving the credit on our bank account.
The amount of the returns will be refunded with payment to the bank account with which the payment of the order was made.
Payment by Gift Card
• Once the items have been placed in the cart, you can use your Gift Card or your credit.
• There is a multi-digit code on the Gift Card or in the Gift Card email.
• Enter the code in the "Gift Card / Credit / Promotional Code" field on the checkout page.
• In the "active promotions" field you can check your code and view the final amount after entering the code.
• You can now proceed with checkout. On the last page you have the possibility to view a summary of the order and the final amount before confirming the purchase.
If the total order value exceeds your credit, Gift Card or promotion balance, select the payment method you want to cover the difference with.
If the balance of your Gift Card or your credit exceeds the total value of the order, you can use the same code to make your next purchase.
The remaining amount will be available until your credit balance is completely used up.
